ADA Compliance With Criterion Sign Series

With a Kroy tactile plate, the Criterion Sign Series meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for raised-image signage as well as creates a consistent wayfinding system. The tactile plate, which incorporates raised text, pictograms and Grade II Braille, is permanently applied to a clear, protective lens. When a change occurs, only the changeable message insert or the tactile plate need to be replaced.

Criterion Frame Sizes and Configurations

Select from a full range of configurations to meet your signage needs. (Frames include a protective clear lens.)

Criterion Frame Colors

Durable, medium-impact polystyrene frames provide rich color choices to match any interior decor. Choose from: Architectural Gray, Gray, Brown, Beige, Black and White.

Special Features

The unique design of the Criterion Sign Series offers economical "in-house updateability" plus vandal resistance. A changeable message insert rests between the frame and the non-glare acrylic lens. This design ensures easy updateable signage that is protected from the environment.

Criterion signs may be mounted using screws, hooks and loops, silicone adhesive, adhesive foam tape or magnets. They can be used with open plan modular office furniture systems by using fabric pins or velcro which provide a strong bond to the fabric panels without defacing the furniture.

Complementary Directories and Directionals

To complete your comprehensive wayfinding and identification system, Kroy offers the Elite Directory System. The Elite Directory offers a wide range of configurations, finishes and materials to complement the three standard frame profiles - square, radius and chamfer. Ask for more information.

Section View

Quality-crafted frame profiles like radius, square and chamfer edges ensure professional signage that communicates effectively. Developed with the designer in mind, the chamfer frame edges are beveled on the outside and inside to provide a clean, crisp edge.

Changeable Message Sign

This innovative design combines economical "in-house updateability" with vandal-resistant features. Updates are easy, fast and inexpensive. The message strip rests within the face panel behind a clear protective lens. Simply remove the face panel, insert the new message strip and replace the face panel into the frame.
