KROY ANNOUNCES 70% PRICE REDUCTION ON PORTABLE
K2500 LABEL AND WIRE-MARKING PRINTER
CLEVELAND (February 21, 2000) - Kroy LLC, a leading manufacturer
of label and wire-marking printers, has announced a major price
reduction on the Kroy K2500 - a hand-held printer that produces
labels, bar codes and wire marks. Formerly retailing for $1095,
the K2500 now has a suggested retail price of only $299.
"Because we now sell directly to the consumer,
we've been able to lower our prices and pass the savings on to
the user," said Benny Bonanno, vice-president of sales and marketing
for Kroy.
Along with the new lower price, Kroy has also
added two new supplies for the K2500: 1) wire wraps, a self-laminating
label used to professionally mark terminated wires and cables
and 2) cast vinyl, a supply which sticks to curved or irregular
surfaces and has up to a seven-year exterior life. These new supplies
make the K2500 even more versatile by supplementing the already-existing
supplies: direct-thermal, die-cut, tamper-evident, laminated and
non-laminated industrial labels and heat-shrink tubing.
"Because the K2500 prints on such a wide variety
of supplies, users can enjoy labeling solutions that fill their
needs and fit into their budgets," said Bonanno. "Our K2500 is
easily carried from one site to another to create on-site, on-demand
labeling and bar-code identification of equipment, parts, wires
and cables - just about anything!"
